Every passenger needs a Visa to Egypt. For most nationalities, we can arrange the visas be issued at the airport or border- "upon arrival". Visas can be obtained at borders and airports at an extra charge. Visas can be arranged by our office.
Extensions
Every passenger can extend his stay in Egypt. All the arrangements will be made by our local agents.
Required Documents:
1. Every passenger must have a valid passport and visa to Egypt. 2. Passengers who have duel citizenship must also take their Israeli passport. 3. Israelis who have duel citizenship must have a special confirmation from the I.D.F. 4. Passengers who need a transit visa for Israel can get it at the Ministry of Interior office before leaving Israel or by the Israeli Embassy in Cairo, before leaving Egypt.
Border Fees and Procedures:
1. $15 Visa charge at Taba Border or Airport. 2. Surcharge of USD$55.-: includes Israeli exit tax, Egypt entry fee and service chargesincludes all tips. 3. Passengers have to give the Egyptian customs officer a declaration about cash money, travellers cheques, or any other valuables in their possesion, before leaving the border passage. 4. It is not allowed to take into Egypt or out of the country, any kinds of food, including vegetables or nuts. 5. Passengers are not allowed to carry with them any weapons, guns or flammable objects. 6. Passengers who want to stay in Egypt longer than 7 days, must register at the nearest police station. 7. It is not allowed to take into Egypt or out of Egypt more than EGL 20.
Customs:
According to the customs regulations, each passenger may import tax-free the following amounts:
1. Israelis who stay in Egypt up to 14 days - up to $50. 2. Israelis who stay in Egypt over 14 days - up to $100. 3. Foreign tourists - up to $125 .
