For your Information:
- While crossing to Egypt, you must show a passport valid for at least 3 months.
- If you are planning to proceed to Egypt or plan on staying for more than 14 days in Taba/Sinai, you must hold an Egyptian visa.
- Cellular phones and pornographic material are forbidden in Egypt.
- Passengers to Sinai need to pay fare at the bank and proceed with passports control. If you plan on entering Egypt with your vehicle, you are to have your driver's license and vehicle certifications in English. Translation services are available at the terminal from 6:00-21:00.
- Only Private cars may pass - no rentals, 4X4, minibuses, vans, convertibles, pick-ups, or diesel.
- Car insurance can be attained at the M.M.S.I. desk at the terminal.
- There are no duty-free privilages for those staying in Egypt for less than 48 hours.
