The trip lasts approximately 12 hours.

Required Documents:
  1. Every passenger must have a valid passport and visa to Egypt.
  2. Passengers who have duel citizenship must also take their Israeli passport.
  3. Israelis who have double citizenship must have a special confirmation from the I.D.F.
  4. Passengers who need a transit visa for Israel can get it at the Ministry of Interior before leaving Israel, or by the Israeli Embassy in Cairo before leaving Egypt.
Border Procedures:
  1. Passengers have to give the Egyptian customs officer a declaration about cash money, travellers cheques, or any other valuables in their possesion, before leaving the border passage.
  2. It is not allowed to take into or out of Egypt, any kinds of food, including vegetables or nuts.
  3. Passengers are not allowed to carry any weapons, guns or flammable objects.
  4. Passengers who want to stay in Egypt longer than 7 days, must register at the nearest Police Station.
  5. It is not allowed to take into or out of Egypt, more than EGL 20.
Customs: According to the customs regulations, each passenger may import
               tax-free the following amounts:
  1. Israelis who stay in Egypt up to 14 days - up to $50.
  2. Israelis who stay in Egypt over 14 days - up to $100.
  3. Foreign tourists - up to $125.
 

Remarks:
  1. Passengers who are delayed at the border because of invalid passport or visa, or any other procedural problems, are responsible for their own transportation from the border.
  2. There will be no refund for unused portions on confirmed itineraries, transfers and hotel accomodation after commencement of journey, (i.e. departure from Israel).
  3. Any complaints regarding service in Egypt must be accompanied by official documentation.
  4. All the above mentioned rates may change without prior notice.
  5. No health or baggage insurance is included.
  6. Passengers who wish to confirm their return date should contact our travel agency in Cairo, at least 72 hours in advance.
  7. Passengers must change foreign currency into EGL at the bank in Egypt and keep the receipts until departing from Egypt .
